Hi folks,

We've been having trouble with legitimate EMS mailing list messages ending
up in people's Spam folders. This usually happens when people report EMS
mailing list messages as Spam. This stops messages from being received by
other people who want to receive them.

If you want to stop receiving messages from this list, click the mailman
link at the bottom of this email and enter your email address in the
section near the bottom for 'Unsubscribe or edit options'.

If you want to stop seeing particular threads because the conversation is
not interesting, you may be interested in the Gmail 'm'ute thread feature.

It would also be helpful if you can look through your Spam folder now and
tell Google that any EMS messages you find are Not Spam. You can find them
quickly by searching your Gmail for:

Meanwhile, those of you who are experiencing this problem with Gmail, you
can create a filter for your Gmail account that will automatically 'never
spam' EMS emails, and you can even do some cool things like automatically
labeling them, and so on. I have "Makerspace" label in my Gmail, and it
makes finding the EMS-related emails super quick and easy, and it keeps
them from ending up in the spam folder at the same time.

I've created a little tutorial graphic for anyone who doesn't know how to
do this, it's pretty simple, and just takes a minute or two to get it set
up, and then it's done.
