I would really like to see EMS become a more interesting place for existing
members as well as potential new members. And I think we can do this in
three ways.

Organize the shop and get the equipment in good working order, make and
display some interesting projects, and finally, get some outside resources
to pay for it.

I would like to seek outside financial resources in the way of grants,
crowdfunding, classes, donations, etc for use in the following areas:

Shop improvement. Continue with the work Joe is doing on building more work
space, adding a dust collection, wood storage, and a steel table. I'm
currently working with Paris on a new router table.

If we added a few cabinets and stacks of drawers we could give everything a
home. You'd know where to find it and where to put it away, and this would
get rid of a lot the unsightly clutter that plagues EMS.

Repair, upgrade, maintain and replace tools and equipment suffering from
entropy. I'm sure we can all agree on having tools and equipment that are
use
