I attempted to vote, but it only presented a button that said "vote"
with no options, and upon clicking it, instead of being presented with
selections I was told that I already "had voted."

When you click vote, It logged your vote for nobody. I suspect your browser hiccupped or you didn't let it load all the way, as I recall there was a list of people on the right and you would drag them into the order you wished to vote.

That bites, dude. Maybe Clif has a way to reset your vote?

Hi Paris,

it shows that you voted from a different email address,
EMAIL HIDDEN:

"This voter voted on 1 Dec 2017 at 22:11 PST from IP address
76.105.216.34"

I think you have to click at least two buttons to vote, most likely
three. There is no option to reset a vote, though perhaps you could file
a bug report. They probably have more logging then they allow the
clients to see, and this could help them find the problem.

I'd say, make a note of the time when you submitted your blank vote. I'm
not entirely sure how everything is going to be processed tomorrow, but it
may be that we'll be manually re-running the vote calculations based on the
raw vote data... in which case, assuming a blank submitted ballot exists
when you said you sent yours, we may be able to 'replace' that blank ballot
with the vote matrix you would have preferred to submit. Write down your
preferred votes, and I'd say.. email them to Tom Upchurch, or show up at
the membership meeting (10am Saturday morning).

I'm not the one running the actual mechanics of the election, but with the
whole thing over Cord's withdrawal partway through the balloting process,
we've talked some about re-running the calculations in the event that Cord
ends up in 'the winner's circle', so this *may* be a rather trivial issue
to repair. with the caveat that your vote choices will no longer be fully
anonymous since you'll have to tell someone.

Congratulation to the new EMS board!

I look forward to the fostering of a bold new culture
in the space of being of service to the broader community
while actually making things.

... nice weather eh? EMAIL HIDDEN
