A few weeks ago, Tom Upchurch set up the K40 that Marcel dropped off and it
does stuff! I've set cardboard on fire and am working on figuring out a
solid toolchain for using it. I wanted to share some info from my own
stumbling and see who has some info that might help more. If anyone else
has already figured out how to use it for cutting and engraving, let me
know and I"ll be happy to help document it!

First, basics: It currently has an Arduino UNO (328) that is running GRBL
(I think). It responds to GCODE at 115200 8N1, no faster.

NOTE: When you open a connection to it, the laser pulses! It's not a big
pulse, but it's enough to poke a hole in cardboard. Plan accordingly.

I've successfully burninated some cardboard in Windows with LaserGRBL but
haven't figured out how to control laser intensity yet. It looks like the
pin11 for intensity control is configured which allows GRBL to pulse the
laser via PWM to control power, I just haven't found the right combination
of software to cont
