Friday evening, Scott Rosenfeld (N7JI) dropped of a flyer advertising a
free class you can take, to get your Amateur Radio Technician License...
also known as the entry-level Ham Radio Operator license!
We have a number of HAM enthusiasts here at EMS, and several of the
interested members have been pooling their resources to build a Ham Radio
Station at the shop. Of course, you need a license to transmit on those
frequencies, but it turns out that getting your license is really
Scott's organizing interested parties for a 2-day class over the weekend of
*Saturday: Class runs 8am-4pm*
*Sunday: Class runs 8am-1pm - License exam begins at 2pm!*
- Attendance to the class is free.
- Taking the license exam will cost $15 (cash or check)
- There is no fee associated with receiving the FCC license.
